I am pleased to announce that today, in collaboration with Filippo Sanfilippo and Beatrice Seccomandi, we presented our latest research at the 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔). Our research addresses two critical frontiers at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, cognitive science, and inclusive education:

We analyze the isomorphism between “model collapse” in synthetic architectures and the potential for cognitive atrophy in human subjects, proposing a theoretical framework to safeguard epistemic sovereignty within the complex landscape of the fifth operational domain.

By leveraging Intelligent Technology, we propose a more granular approach to educational assessment, designed to accurately identify and support the unique cognitive profiles of high-ability and twice-exceptional (2e) learners who are often marginalized by standard testing limitations.
